Plentiful along roadsides, in gardens, grasslands, and neglected areas. Blooms from April to October. A perennial plant indigenous to the region.
Identification
The flower spike typically remains shorter than the furrowed stem, with flowers bearing pale yellowish-white anthers. Stalks covered in silky hairs emerge from a basal rosette of linear to oval-lanceolate leaves, ranging from spreading to more or less erect. Stems reach up to 50 cm in height.
