Thrives in rugged grasslands, alongside ditches, and on roadsides and hedgebanks. Blooms from May to August. A perennial plant native to the region.
Identification
Clusters of 4-10 yellow flowers form racemes, succeeded by flattened black seed-pods. Its leaves feature a pair of bluish-green, pointed linear-lanceolate leaflets, often accompanied by branched or unbranched tendrils. The plant has a somewhat downy texture, with climbing or straggling stems reaching up to 120cm in length.
